Lounges and Activity Nodes of Hamad International Airport

Luca Terraneo has worked on the wayfinding and decorations of the new Doha International Airport Lounges and Activity Nodes. The process of designing such a complex project for big public spaces requires a strong coordination between all the parties involved, starting from the architecture studio Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel & Partners that was in charge of all the interiors. The stem generating cell – whose shape is the same of the airport –  guarantee a coherent code for all the visuals and it draws inspiration from traditional arabesque adornments.
